At the Mapping Party, we will learn how to edit in OpenStreetMap
<http://osm.org/> for Humanitarian Responses to Natural Disasters like
Earth Quakes, Floods, Land Slides using the HOT Tasking Manager.

OSM Tasking Manager <http://tasks.hotosm.org/> is a mapping tool designed
and built for the Humanitarian OSM Team collaborative mapping. The purpose
of the tool is to divide up a mapping job into smaller tasks that can be
completed rapidly. It shows which areas need to be mapped and which areas
need the mapping validated.

Come and learn how to edit the OpenStreetMap using the iD Editor
(in-browser editor) and JOSM (Java OpenStreetMap) Editor.

Apart from OpenStreetMap training, the trainer from Humanitarian
OpenStreetMap Team – Tanzania (HOT-TZ) will also give a brief of Ramani
Huria <http://ramanihuria.org/>  a project that involves Community Mapping
for Flood Resilience in Dar es Salaam.
