Are you are aware of these websites offering data:

*National Bureau of Statistics (NBS)* website has some 2002-3 & 2007-8 
sample agricultural datasets. The Mainland sample consisted of 3,192 
villages. The total Mainland sample was 47,880 agricultural households 
while in Zanzibar, a total of 317 Enumeration Areas (EAs) were selected 
and 4,755 agricultural households were covered  :

*NBS* has a wealth of data if you dig down deep into the original 
statistical datasets, creating maps from the data at micro-level should 
be possible but would require quite a bit of extra effort, assuming it 
is useful for your study areas.
