When Zuckerberg was questioned by the US Senat not all questions have
been answered.
Facebook did this now in writing:

Some things facebook is recording when you have the app installed:
GPS location, camera information, photos, call logs, SMS log history,
Bluetooth, nearby Wi-Fi access points, nearby cell towers, battery
level, signal strength, available storage space.
And much much more.
If you use it on the PC it is not less.

The like button included in websites as iframe is collecting huge
amounts of information about your device and browser and sending to
facebook. If you have a facebook account or not does not matter. For
users without a facebook account a shadow profile is created.

Website owners should remove the facebook, google etc buttons and
replacing them with eg. Shariff https://github.com/heiseonline/shariff a
framework which is sending the like information to facebook only if you
click in the button.
For including youtube videos or twitter tweets embeddy
https://github.com/heiseonline/embetty is a solution. It is showing a
preview and only connecting to youtube and twitter when clicked on the
preview.

If you use a service for free you are the product on sale. This is what
makes the shares of facebook offering a "free" service for anybody worth
568 billion USD.

Decide if the "free" service is worth the price you are paying. Detailed
information about any of your movements, your phone calls, messages you
are sending and receiving, your contacts, when you charge your phone etc...
