[ALUG] Setting Crons on FreeBSD

I think you should remove that star in the beginning of your command  try
this /*30 * * * *    /usr/local/bin/bash /etc/rsync.sh  *
and not */*30 * * * *    /usr/local/bin/bash /etc/rsync.sh*
