[ALUG] AntiVirus software is obsolete

Hi list!

After the Symantec vice president declared AntiVirus software being 
obsolete beginning of the month [1] now Dr. Alan Solomon is writing in 
his blog: AntiVirus is obsolete [2]. He can not see how it should work. 
It was fine a decade ago, but the world has changed. With 100,000 to 
200,000 virus samples per day it is impossible to provide the signature 
updates in time, or even testing them within a small time frame.
Instead using AntiVirus Software he recommends: Use Linux.
