In May 2003 the city administration of Munich started to migrate to
OpenSource.
On the Linux Tag conference last week held in Berlin the project manager
announced: Done!

A nice anecdote: Because of the Munich announcement to migrate to Open
Source Bill Gates visited the Munich Major Ude and asked him why they
want to do so.
Ude: "We want more freedom."
Gates: "Freedom from what?"
Ude: "Freedom from you, Mr. Gates!"
