"No electronics are working" doesn't sound very promising. Unless you have
someone who can dedicate time to taking out bits and pieces and trying to
cobble together some working machines, I'd say you're probably better off
letting them go as scrap.
I've seen the following suggestions so far regarding uses for the
technology:
1. a hosting platform for people to develop and deploy applications
2. implied: Internet access for ATF members. Would you consider that the
ATF members are mostly going to have their own laptops? If so, all you
really need to provide is wifi.
3. a sort of cyber-cafe for people to use for training workshops and
Internet access (including schools)
Option 3 sounds to me like a community outreach type of activity.
Definitely a laudible aim, but beware that it will make bigger demands on
the forum in terms of space, power, number of desktops/laptops, and time
spent administering the lab. For this type of activity, perhaps it would be
better to partner with an existing college or university who already has a
lab?
