Thanks for the info all of the people who have contributed to this challenge. the big issue is i updated my system and i was using mailbox settings. now it seem that dovecot has forced the system to use Maildir/ course i have tried everything but maibox dont work any more only when i try Maildir is working fine. Now its a challenge of letting the mailbox mails to be readable by the Maildir/ settings

Maildir
The difference is that mbox adds all the emails to a single file.
It then becomes a difficult/a problem when managing accounts with lots of emails cause the file becomes quite big and also doesn't allow one to selectively manage the emails.
So Maildir becomes the better choice for busy mail servers with over 300-500 emails per day.
