[ALUG] TECHCHIX ICANNWIKI EDIT-A-THORN EVENT ON 19TH NOVEMBER 2016

Dear all

It is with great pleasure that we announce to you that techchix will be
facilitating ICANNWIKI edit-a-thon event this coming November 19th
2016,from 9:00am.Refreshments,lunch and incentives to be provided.

This is a workshop aiming at sharpening wiki edit skills more so in the
field of internet governance.We will be translating a number of articles
about internet governance from English to swahili.

The workshop will be hosted at JR institute, Kindly fill the registration
form below for participation.

ICANNWiki is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the
Internet community's collaborative development of wiki articles on ICANN
and Internet Governance-related topics. The wiki provides neutral,
third-party information for ICANN meeting attendees and Internet citizens
at large. It is an open platform governed by wiki values, such as Neutral
Point of View, transparency, assuming good faith, and building together.
The project is independent of ICANN, and is based out of Portland, Oregon,
USA.

TechChix stands for Technology ladies: a non-profit organization that seek
to provide STEM awareness to tomorrow’s leaders who are the children of
today by teaching them STEM related activities. Been an NGO run by females
in STEM fields it also seeks to inspire not only young ladies to join this
fields but as well as to pursue careers related to it so as to bridge the
gap between the two opposite sexes.
