Maildir

The difference is that mbox adds all the emails to a single file.

It then becomes a difficult/a problem when managing accounts with lots of
emails cause the file becomes quite big and also doesn't allow one to
selectively manage the emails.

So Maildir becomes the better choice for busy mail servers with over
300-500 emails per day.
